About Me

I have held lecturing and teaching positions at the University of Birmingham, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Exeter. I have been a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since July 2023. I hold IASH (Institute for Advanced Studies of the Humanities) Affiliate Status for 2024-25 and 2025-26.

I received my PhD in Art History from the University of Birmingham in 2021. My PhD was funded by Midlands4Cities (AHRC) and the Haywood Fellowship scheme.

I have given lectures on my research around the world to a range of audiences. For all enquiries and collaborations, please use the contact form.

I am the Book Reviews Editor for the Social History of Alcohol and Drugs journal; I commission and edits reviews for publication. I am also an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
